Incredibly brilliant flowers with scarlet crimson petals (with outer white flares) and a tufted yellow center. Beautiful tall peony with strong stems that hold its flowers well above the dark green shiny foliage. Highly recommended!

It's too early to say if the peony "Montazuma" will perform but they arrived here in New Hampshire in vey fine fettle in mid=September. Bare root and very vigorous in appearance with healthy looking eyes and perfect packaging. I am optimistic that these plants will fair well here in the rocky soils of Zone 5/northern New England.
